Black Out Poetry:  From an existing text, (e.g. an article from the newspaper, a page from a book) I select words that could form a poem. With a marker I black out the remaining words. This reveals my poem. A new story has been created from the existing text. 

For me, the challenge lies in not changing the order of the words and not "borrow" letters from other words. As it is in the original text, that is how I use it in the new poem. I don't like to tear out pages from a book, so I use song lyrics and other texts that I copy or print out.

I create my black out poetry because I love to create, they are not for sale.
